Welcome to Sheng Siong Supermarket!

Hi all. It has been a while right? It feels really good to be back. Few months back, majority of our Nursery children went to Sheng Siong Supermarket and had to absorb alot of information that was being delivered to them. Nevertheless, it was a stress-free trip to the supermarket and the children had fun!

At the supermarket, they observed how the vegetables were being packed and tagged with a price tag.

Observing live frogs. Denise looked really disgusted ...

Observing a live lobster and crab...

They learnt about the function of the weighing machine, and what to look for to find out the price of a certain item.

Yes! They had the opportunity to go "behind the scenes" to check out how papayas and "kailan" were packed.

Here, the children were using their senses of touch and smell to feel the texture of the vegetables and smell them.

"How do I know how much this item cost?" Upon hearing the teacher's question, Walt, Li Wei and Sizhu immediately pointed to the price tag.

Let's pay at the cashier!

On our way back to school now!
The wheels on the bus go round and round ...
